Vicki Kringen has been named President/CEO of The Centers for Habilitation (TCH). Kringen brings a wealth of experience from the for-profit and not for profit business sectors. She has spent the last 17 years at TCH most recently in the position of Vice President and COO.
She was named The Tempe Chamber of Commerce 2011 Business Woman of the Year. Kringen has also served as the Board Chair for the Tempe Chamber of Commerce (2009-2010), was a founding member of Neighborhood Economic Development Corporation, a graduate of Tempe Leadership and a former long-standing board member of MesaCAN.
Kringen succeeds recently retired TCH President/ CEO David Cutty, who will now serve in a new role as Executive Director of The Cutty Legacy Foundation to help the foundation focus on strategy and growth.
In other TCH news, there have been some new elections to the boards:
Jeff Bernick of the law offices of Ridenour, Hienton & Lewis, P.L.L.C. has been
elected to the TCH Board of Directors. Mr. Bernick’s practice is concentrated in employment counseling and litigation, commercial litigation and appeals.

TCH Vice President Kringen Makes Tempe Chamber of Commerce History
Our own Vickie Kringen has made Tempe Chamber history by becoming the first Chair-Elect to come from a non-profit organization. Kringen will serve as Chairperson for the Chamber for the June, 2009 thru June, 2010.
A 13 ½ year veteran of TCH, Vicki is excited about the possibilities being Chair of the Chamber will bring to TCH. "My two passions are serving people with disabilities and working with small businesses," Kringen said. "This Chair-ship will allow me to bring to the attention of the Tempe business community that non-profit organizations are economic engines in their neighborhoods and can work in partnership with businesses to produce positive outcomes for each."
Kringen has worked with the Chamber for most of her years with TCH. Serving on several committees, Vicki admitted that her favorite is the Governmental Affairs Committee. As Chair-Elect she will also serve on several other committees including the Executive Committee, the East Valley Chamber of Commerce Alliance, and the Business Resources Advantage.
This year as Chair-Elect Vicki will immerse herself in Tempe Chamber activities and committees. Additionally, she will get to know as many members as possible so she can get a feel for what the members’ needs and goals are and how the Chamber can help their business.
